E4od Not Shifting!!!
well its on my buddies truck, but we pulled the trans to change the torque converter. we put it back together and now it drives fine other than it won't shift out of first or second......it just starts out and revs up but won't shift.
we ended up putting a known good used tranny out of a 92 in it, the truck is a 93 that we are working on.
i feel like it is something electronic.....the od light turns on and off with the button, reverse, park, N, D,2,and 1 all work as they should other than the no shifting part.
does anyone know the deal???
if it matters the old trans had 35 stamped on the bellhousing and the new one has 37..........
he really needs some help.........
