I have changed Ign. switch. The key Ign. I do not know why it will not turn off. I can turn the key all the way back and the truck still runs. I would put it into gear and kill the motor that way and pull the negative wire off the battery and then something will click and maybe reset because i can put it back together and restart but still no turning off of the truck.

While it's running, I would pull the fuses one at a time(with the key in the off position), and see if you can kill it. If you can, it would be interesting to know what that fuse powers.

Is this truck new to you? How much homemade wiring does it have?

starter relay could be the cause to that problem.

sometimes the relay will keep it from dying when shut off. ford has a high reputation for either not shutting off when switching off or to try to start while nobody is in it or around it untill it kills that bat. you can try tapping the relay next to the bat and sometimes it will stop till you start again. but as soon you get it to shut off cahange it. they cost any where from 4 to 20 dollars.

now this might be the cause or you have a bad ignition switch again or something like that.

Also check the Alt for backfeed thru the system. CAREFULLY remove the hot {big} wire off the back of the alt while she is running with the key off, and if it shuts off, problem is in the charging system. There was a post in the Elec part I believe about the same issue a short time ago.
