Thanks guys! I wish I had a video from the last pull. The track was fairly hard and dry. When I spun out at the end the dust was so bad I couldn't see the flagman. I didn't suck the filter through the turbo either.

Probably because the filter was dry and humidity wasn't 1000%. I say keep the filter out of the bucket of water before use and you ought to be OK. Funny how we ignore the underhood open filter temp drying effect when discussing open element filters.
I suppose if I were to wash my engine compartment with a hose without covering the 6637, and then go for a drive, I might have a problem or two, duh.
That's one of the best pulls I've seen you in. Nice job.
I have a question. Right at the start of the pull, (and I've seen this before) your stacks make a pop sound and the black smoke clears to about 50%.
What's that pop?
