Hi all, I put a DR 4.5" kit on my truck (05' F350 HD)about 2 months ago, thanks to all of you I am glad I went with the DR install was easy everything fit, no complaints at all. The only thing is that I noticed that it squeaks on the drivers side when the suspension compresses alot quickly. I could hit a pothole and it wont do it but go decently fast through a dip in the road and it makes this loud squeaking sound definetly from the Drivers side . I cant seem to find where its coming from, and I know I torqued down all the bolts to spec, if not a little more. Where could it be coming from? Its starting to get annoying! Thanks
The sound is definetly coming from the front drivers side. The thing is that it does not make a peep at all under regular driving, but then I'll hit a dip hard and it will make this sound, but it is loud..and concerning....
I was told to make sure I torqued the sway bar end links correctly or it would do what you are describing. Worth a shot to re-check your torque settings.
Can't I just disconnect the sway bar by one side of the link and then go over a dip and see if it does it? That wouldn't really harm anything would it? Just a little more "sway"? Also, do I want to look at the bottom or top connection of the links? Thanks

I removed them in the past to diagnose a thump. I never had any problems.
Your springs should have like a plastic or rubber pad between each of them If those have fallen out or not installed it could cause a sqeak. On an old truck of mine I took and sprayed WD40 on each component until It quit sqeaking use the process of elimination it should work spray one part go drive it still sqeaks.. spray another.

I've been driving around with both front and rear sway bars removed for almost 4 years now, you should be ok.
I believe you'd want to check the bottom, that's where the "joint" is isn't it? The top is just where it bolts to the frame. I could be mistaken though, haven't messed with mine in a while.
there are no pads between the springs because my truck has coils in the front... i am going to try the process of elimination though ill let you all know what happens.....thanks though!!!
My truck had the same noise. The noise was coming from the track bar were it mounts to the drop bracket(drivers side). All bolts were tight.Squirted WD-40 on
the upper pivit point & noise gone!!!
