Hello. I lost power on my marker light pin. Marker lights on truck work fine, brights left and right work on trailer, but no marker. Checked fuses pulled connectors under truck apart looking for power. No power! Now where do I look next? Thanks, Dirt.
I checked the seven pin connector as well. Brown wire w/wt stripe. No power at the four pin connector or the seven pin connector. No power forward and the under the cap cannon plug???
I believe that the trailer lights are fused seperate from the truck lights. ALso at least on the older 7.3's with the auto transmission, if the truck brake light fuse blows and you stop and go to park position, it will remain there until the fuse is replaced. Boss just went through this on his F350 dually.
Well, I was just going to let this one go because I was too embarrassed to tell you the cause of the problem. It was a fuse. The trailer markers are grouped with the reverse lights. I don't remember which fuse it is but it is written in black and white in the manual. Imagine, I replaced the fuse and the markers worked as advertised. (I found a bare wire on the trailer). Thanks for the input, D.
