Where does the vacuum line connect for the vacuum advance on the dist.?I have a 390 w/ carter 4 barrel carb.There is a port right at the base of the carb. and one just a little higher than that.Which one should i use?:-X11

Should be the higher one but a simple check will tell. With the engine idling, the port with vacuum on it is NOT the one, plug it. The port with no vacuum on it is the right one.
