Awesome, thanks for your help Charles! Those are stock cooler lines by the way, right?
And how are you liking that new stacked plate cooler? Make a big difference?
. . . . .YES Sireeee....stock lines' for the both vehicle's......
........tell you what, before these cooler's, i could feel the "warmth" of fluid going through the return lines ! ! ! >>>>>NOW, after installing these Cooler's, the return fluid line are much cooler to feel than the lines coming from the trans with warm/hot fluid, and this is sitting still at idle on my driveway, But it's like 60degree weather outside for now.....BUT still to feel the difference of the two line's with the different temp-O-fluid running through, I AM MOST Satisfied about's the add-on/change-over for this oil Cooler . . . . $$$ well spent here, IMHO . . . . . . . { secret tho = i have at least 2 inches of Air space between the Cooler and the next Radiator/Air Condition_Condensor AND between the Air/Condition_Condensor AND the Motor's_Radiator . . . . } . . . . . temp show's around the "N to O" of the stock temp gauge & this is with a 192degree thermostat ! ! So, i'm not one bit worried about's the temp of the Tran's Fluid....
I don't know how cool your atf will end up being with that pan, but keep in mind that too cool is a bad thing....180* is ideal. Transmissions have an "operating temp" that ought to be met just like motors do.
I just installed a trans cooler I found at Pull-a-part out of a 4.0 Exploder. Bar and plate cooler for $9. Now I need to get a trans temp gague for sure....
