Can one jack up the engine safely?
Fresh 390 finally made its way into my '68. When putting it back in I partially stripped/bent one of the motor mount bolts. I need to change it out but want to avoid waiting until the weekend to rent a puller to do the job. Can anyone recommmend good jacking points somwhere around the oil pan (i.e. use a piece of stock and a floor jack on either side)?

If you have iron manifolds use an appropriate length 2X4 and a jack on each manifold and it shouldn't be a problem.:-X11
