Not really V10 engine related, but I'm now the only person in my immediate (including in-laws) family with a Ford vehicle of any kind. My dad just traded his '05 F150 SuperCrew for an '07 Tahoe.
It was bad enough when my dad or one of his buddies needed to haul something that wouldn't fit in their dinky trucks. Now I'll get to haul ALL their junk. They're really racking up the miles too! I've got almost 15,000 on my '05 F250 now!
LOL- I do need to drive more!
Bought the truck to tow our RV- which we no longer own. And since I get to work from home, I don't rack up many miles.
Now my wife... she has nearly 15,000 on her '07 Suburban that we just bought at the end of last November! Of course, I put at least 4,000 of those miles on a couple of weeks ago when we drove up to Spokane, WA and back (in case you didn't notice I was gone)
It's just kind of odd. Growing up, we were a Ford family.
