I work in a job that requires me to drive to locations and check on work completed it normally takes me 10-15 minutes per check, times 17 areas around the metroplex. I leave my truck running always when I leave my base and head out to locations, only time I cut it off is when I arrive home. Is this bad for my truck? I fear turning it off and then on every 10-15 minutes might do something ..

I don't see much of a problem either way. As long as you're not worried about gas mileage or someone stealing your truck, then letting it idle like that is not that big a deal. I suppose you can save where and tear on the battery and starting system like that.
I would worry about heat soak on 90+ degree days if you let it sit too long!! The best thing to do is get a infra red thermo and check for hot spots especially on electrical components and try it one day running all day then another turning it off!! and see how it changes! If you got to a hobby shop they have the thermos for $22.00 for a decent one!! You will have to decide for yourself on the temp issue!!
As long as you have a high amp battery and you got at least a hour drive straight to recharge it, You will be fine cutting it off and restarting, the starter as long as not cranked continuously every ten minutes, should live a long life, Or you could just park on a hill and pop start it!!!!!!
They say that if your going to be at an idle for more than 2 minutes, shut the truck down to save gas. Back in the day, they would say to leave your vehicle run at railroad x and such as it takes more gas to start it, but efi these days, it's not the case I guess. More than anything, your wasting alot of fuel. That would really add up in a years time.
