"unprogramming" horn honk ???
hi all, after searching threads, and reading my owners manual, i am trying to find out if there is a way to "unprogram" the horn honk with the double press of the lock on the FOB. i am integrating a remote starter unit, and it requires 3 presses of the lock button, and that always makes the horn honk. is there anyway to de-activate just the horn honk? i like all the other features such as the perimeter lighting, and would like to keep all those. thanks in advance !!

I would be surprised if you could find a way to change the program for that.
Looking at the '07 schematic, there is a vehicle security module that I would guess is what honks the horn while locking. It looks like that wire goes through a couple multi-wire connectors, and it's labeled "1 DB" (dark blue?).
