plug labeled "POSM". searching, looks to be tranny related. it's a plug with a green wire that goes somewhere behind the glovebox. it has nothing plugged into the other end.
what's the POSM. google didn't turn up much. what and why would you plug in there? some diagnostic tool or something

Well about all you need to know about it is that you have to reprogram it if you change the tire size on the rear of the truck to make the speedometer read right and you can only reprogram it four (maybe 5) times.
It also keeps track of you odometer reading and tells the PCM how fast you are going so the PCM can change gears at the right time if you have the E4OD/4R70W transmissions.
