posm plug behind glove box
plug labeled "POSM". searching, looks to be tranny related. it's a plug with a green wire that goes somewhere behind the glovebox. it has nothing plugged into the other end.
should there be something plugged in?

The ENABLE PSOM programming connector that you were curious about and nothing plugs into is in the diagram.

It also keeps track of you odometer reading and tells the PCM how fast you are going so the PCM can change gears at the right time if you have the E4OD/4R70W transmissions.
