Unhappy no fire help

i posted earlier but for some reason its gone now not sure why. can some one tell me my problem is my 92 f 150 300 6cylinder 5 speed died while going down the road i have replaced the coil, cap and rotor then last but not least the ignition control module still wont start no fire. some one earlier said something about a module under the distributor that u have to pull the distributor to replace he also said the gears have to be pressed on and off the autoparts guy said u just have to beat out a pin to get it all apart put the new mod on and replace the gear ? can i pull that distributor out without putting it at top dead center as long as i put it back in the exact same way it came out and does the oil pump run off the distributor and if so is it hard to line back up please help thank you to everyone who helps

Have you lookede and seen if the CEL comes on when you turn the key on? If it does not then you might have a bad PCM.
