Yes, does we haven't gotten that far yet. It kinks before we can even tighten things down.

Maybe your fill hose is not ridgid enough. where did you get it. theres also room for play if you shortened it.where is it kinking? also the hose for the rear hardly has a bend in it, did the give you the correct one?

The factory one kinked shortly after they put a new tank in. It's kinking just outside of the bends on each end.

Maybe pressure in the tank is causing the kink, check the vents and gas cap.

The hose was slipped on and it kinked. We did not crank the truck, tighten the gas cap down, and the vents were cleared.

So if I am correct in what you describe,it sounds like the filler pipe is to long and the pressure from forcing the pipe into that distance is causing the pipe to fold up (kink). Can you cut it in the straight section and shorten it? you may have to build an aluminum connector and clamp it. JNT

Ok... so...

1. Try to shorten pipe.
2. If shortening fails, install connector...?

I get it right?

They used a polymer tank. I have a feeling noone's pushing the hose on hard enough.

You mean "Peter Noone" of Herman's Hermit's ?
( No one... is 2 words)

Perhaps the fuel hose you have is of a different material that is prone to easier collapsing?

But why would the factory hose do the exact same thing, in the exact same spots. The one I bought was from Dennis Carpenter.

Has the bed settled ?

This is usually the reason for kinked hoses.

Don't know. There're no tool marks on the bed bolts...

There appear to be marks on the gas strap bolts...

from when they changed the tank...

(P.s. Nonne, ain't two ah werd.)

Nonne is one word (if it is actually a word) .....but Yes "No One" is 2 words.
*chain yanked*

Nyuk Nyuk !

The bed can just fall or Sag/Settle from being old.

Check all the bed mounts.
