Looking for input on what programmer i should use. I have a 02 F350 7.3dsl 6spd. i put a leveling kit on it and put 305/70 tires on it and i noticed that when pulling i need more boost and it seams like the waste gate opens when i shift. thats what it feels like.. every company says thiers works the best.
I say either or on both SCT and DP Tuner. Both are the best and safest tuners on the market for your engine and your tranny. Either one you go with, you'll love the power and you'll wonder how you ever did without it.....I love my SCT.....
Now you can get the best of both worlds: you can either get some of jody's custom tunes for your SCT (which I plan to do) or you can get his F5 flip chip and blow the competition away on the fly.
Help, a bit fuzzy on the tuners. 02 f250 bone stock. Just changed the cps.
At the DP site, the F5 chip 16 positon do you buy the chip and add different tunes?
is the no start position some kind of lock out?
sorry for the dumb questions
Bill
Jody can do up to 16 positions on the chip. If you don't want that many they just don't program the others. The base price if for one tune in the chip and it's a little more for each additional. Yes, the no start is an anti-theft setting. The only dumb question is the one never asked.
just call and talk to either jody or Diane tell them what you want to do with the truck and they will set you up with a good setup including fun tunes like extreme smoke if you want or not. Both are great to talk to and will take the time to discuss it with you, will return calls if they aren't around and if you have a problem you won't find someone that works harder to cure it for you. In my case Jody was going to be in the state on business and offered to meet me and scan my truck and try to find the problem no charge, luckily we were able to cure it without that but IMHO thats called dang good CS.
