multiple coolers
I've got a 99 cargo van w/5.4 triton. I noticed the other day that i have what appear to be two extra cooling devices in front of the a/c condenser. I know one is the tranny cooler but then the other smaller one seems to have one hose going to the power steering resevoir, I thought this one should be an engine oil cooler, but maybe I have gone blind in one eye or both or sumpin? Also, the fact that both these units have hose connections means they are aftermarket or dealer installed? THX

Just wondering on the tranny cooler which is the incoming line from the tranny? I saw another post about a guy just emptying the majority of the tranny fluid this way(motor running) before trying to drop the pan. Also, is there a kit to install a drain plug in the tranny pan? THX
