What "catch all" floor mats is everyone using. I checked out the Weathertech and it looks like they do not cover all the carpet between the factory scuff plate and the mat. Husky, Nifty, any others? Looking for somee that fit really good and cover as best as possible. Thanks
I'm also looking and trying to decide on some with winter and deer season coming? My cousin has the Husky's in his Ex and loves them. I'm leaning towards them myself.
Personally, I use Husky black mats. I've had them since I bought my truck in 02. Been through several winters here in the northeast and summers at the beach. They take a beating alright. Traps water, mud, sand, etc due to a 2" lip and all I have to do is to pull out the mats and hose them off. I have them in the cargo compartment as well for when my wife buys plants. That's where I also tell my kids to stay when we're at the beach and I have to drive to get to the ocean so sand stays in one place inside the truck. Mine's 6 pieces total since I have captains chairs and I cover the "hump" in the front between the drive and the passenger.
Easy to clean and quick to dry. Well worth the money I spent. It's not cheap, but in the long run it's one of the best investments I've made for my truck. I put it on top of my factory tan floor mats.
I bought the stock rubber mats for the Excursion from the dealer and they don't cover the whole floor..I thjink they were around $59.95 from the Lincoln dealer I do business with and $69.95 from the Ford dealer,I don't do business with 'cuz he charges more for oil changes and all the parts I've bought from him..There is a space under the throttle pedal and in front of thew seats...
I am looking at the weathercraft for the superduties as they look as if they fit better...
I use the ford winter mats not sure what they are called but I got the black one to go in my tan interior because its all they had. Dosnt look to bad when you have a black X. But they do pretty well here in the winter.
I have these. Their really thick but still very soft so they form to the floor very well, the channels are super deep, and they are very wide and long.
