My apologies in advance if this has been discussed before on here, but I am curious what your opinions are for a floor mat set for the OBS crew cabs. I am looking for a good durable set for my '96 F350 but can't seem to find anything made specific for these trucks. I like the WeatherTech mats in my Tacoma. They were laser cut specific for that truck. Unfortunately they don't make laser cuts for the OBS trucks. All they have are the "semi-universal" cut-to-fit mats and I have my concerns with buying a brand new set of expensive mats that need to be cut to fit.
Any suggestions to what you have in your trucks or what is available out there? I'm looking for rubber mats and not carpeted.
Thanks
I just ordered some of those Husky precision-fit (or something along those lines) floormats for my crew cab. They haven't gotten yet, but should be here in the next day or so.
If you can hold out a day or two I can have them and post up my results.
^^^^^ Husky? Yes, you can get supercab and crew cab rears. We found a used full crew cab set (front 4x4 plus rear), and the rear one actually fits the rear seat area of our supercab pretty well.
Vinyl flooring is def > carpet for a working truck. But they're not "mats". You can't pull them out and dump them on a daily (or multiple times daily) basis, which is REQUIRED in winter in Wisconsin. Our RCLB has vinyl and or SCLB has carpet, and we still use Husky liners in both (and the carpet looks pretty close to new in the SCLB).
I looked at the Huskys (while following this thread) just for the helluvit cause Weathertech doesn't offer OBS & I would love a semi-specific set of deep sided floor mats.
Looking at the install (???) PDF for the over the hump [$59] section ....
it looks like there are embossed areas to be cut out for the shifters.
It also appears that the sides of the pass & drivers side sections "hook' over the edges of this optional center section.
Would love to see real world pics of installation of all three.
