it lives but ...
finally got it in and started. got 50 psi of oil pressure, runs smooth, but i got a flickering alternator light when its at an idel. any ideals? should i polarize the voltage regulator? it's the same one that has been on it. i did have a 40 amp charger hooked to it using the 200 amp start booster to help spin things. man what a job putting it in, i have a gravel driveway and layed plywood down. then my boy ( 14) dropped the engine about 2 feet, but i bit my lip and said thats ok, then checked everything out for damage. then showed him and let him practice afew times lowering the lift. thanks for any help on the alt. problem, but now it's a trip to the waffel house
then to bed i'm beat, but at least i can sleep good knowing it runs.
