Question

Problems with bad vibrations

I am having trouble with my 97 4x2 4.6L vibrating when I am stopped at a stop light. It also cuts off on me. I have changed my IAC. If it is in neutral or park it will idal fine. Do you have any suggestions?

Doesn't sound like anything in the engine itself... Sounds to me as if you need to get your transmission serviced. IIRC, mine was doing something similar before my transmission finally went ka-put.

you may need exhaust dampeners,i did and it helped alot.
