My wife lost the card that has the code to the factory door code. (certainly could not have been me who lost it) Can anyone tell me where the RAP module is that would have the sticker on it? Thanks
i'm in the same boat you're in..except my truck never came with the card..it came with my other 2 superdutys, but not this one..i called the dealer and they said it should have been in there, and that they didn't know how to get me the code by any other means...i used to use the door code more than the remote, but without my code its useless..theres got to be another way to get the factory code somehow...
I don't know if this will help any but in my Grand Marquis, the code is located on the module that is mounted on the driver side door behind the plastic trim piece.
Once you pull that trim piece off (and the power window/lock buttons) the module is mounted under the driver speaker and on the module, there is a sticker with the code.

If you can go back where you bought it and grab the sales manager or your salesman you used. They sold you a $50k truck the least they can do is pull the digits out of the RAP.

Agreed, its not like its been 5 years since you bought it, they atleast owe this to the customer.
Yea some dealers will tell you anything to get rid of you if your not spending money, sometimes it takes a little bit more to get what you wan't, they should help you with this issue.
I appreciate the responses. I am sure if I went to the dealer he would help me out but the dealer I bought from is about 45 mins away and I don't feel like driving that far just to get the code. There is a dealer 5 minutes away but I am sure since I did not buy there they would not be eager to help. I know that there is a box in the truck somewhere that has the code on it. In earlier models it was under drivers dash but I have looked and its not there. Maybe I will drive to the local dealer and see what they say. Thanks again.
The only problem with looking at the box is ... If and I say "IF" they're in the same place as the previous models of F-Superdutys you won't be able to view it. It's burried up inside the middle of the dash from what I remember.
