It is the fusebox/smart junction box that you are looking for. I'm not sure if they still come with the numbers on them or not. The dealer can pull the code for you if they don't.

2008 doesn't have a RAP module, all keyless entry functions are programmed into the smart junction box (interior fuse panel.) The code is on the backside of that module.

Like I said, the fuse panel is the module. Code on sticker on back.

Hey guys,

Anyone be able to tell me what that think is going on in my 2002 F250?

When I turn the truck off the windows and stereo are supposed to keep working and then cut off when I open my doors. Well recently after I shut the truck off and remove the key, and then open my doors, the windows and radio still work??

The only way to get them to cut off is to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. Anyone have any idea of whats going on/needs to be fixed/replaced? I appreciate any advice/help you guys can offer!!

Also, anyone have any advice on which Programmer I should purchase/put in my truck if I want to get a little better gas mileage? I listed below all the info on my 250 and I thank you in advance for any help/advice you can give me!!

2002 F250 Ext Cab XLT Super Duty
5.4L V8 N/A
4:10 Rear
Dual Flowmaster Exhaust
315/75/16 BFG A/T's
16" Chrome Bullet Hole wheels
Steel Plate Roll-n-Lock Bed cover
4x4/Auto locking Hubs
102,7XX Original Miles

Thanks again everyone!!

How old is the battery. Strange things can happen if the voltage isn't up to snuff.
Just a thought. Best of luck.

Sounds like the door switches may need cleaning.

Zedrive- The battery actually was bought back in 2011. So its 2-3 years old now. I'll have to give that a try and see if it helps. Worst comes to worst, I wont have to worry about a battery for a while :P lol

Redford- Yeah I was thinking it could have been a faulty Door Ajar switch as well, but when the truck is on, the door ajar light shows once I open the door. Plus when I disconnect the battery(either with the door open or shut), and then reconnect it again.. It stops working like nothing was ever wrong? So I wasn't too sure if it was that or not? What do you suggest cleaning it with? Just some household cleaners and a rag? And also, if it was that switch... Could it possibly "reset" something to were it works when I disconnect/reconnect the battery like that?

I appreciate all the help with this guys!! Its getting frustrating having to disconnect/reconnect this thing just about every time I get out of the truck! Mainly to keep me from having to replace the battery any time soon! Lol! I do appreciate all of your help though, if I could, I'd offer you guys a beer!!
