I worked on a bunch of 427-8 industrial engines and I NEVER saw a reverse rotation engine in that application. I understand that they used a reverse rotation in a marine application if there were 2 engines in the boat. I've never seen one cause we don't have any water around here big enough to float a 2 engine boat. Scott, it's the cam that is ground different and the crank oil control knurling is backwards. Otherwise, I think everything else is the same.
