I really like my bts converter. I would also recommend a bts tranny, they are awesome. www.brianstruckshop.com

yeah i know that they're awesome but i didn't have a good experience getting my core charge back... it took them over a month to respond to any of my emails and when i finally called them they said "oh yeah it's here we forgot to send you an email".... so i'm tryin to stay away from them... and an ats shouldn't break with the small amounts of power that these 7.3s make

haha i'll mention that when my torque converter actually starts slipping and i need some sort of discount

If you do break an ATS, goodluck getting them to fix it. They're great until $ is coming out of thier pocket due to you breaking stuff.

Maybe in your experiences with them but I have never had that problem. They sent me a billet output shaft that had a big ding in the splines. Called them up and they sent me a brand new one free of charge. I dont wanna start a big internet riot here but I have never heard of BTS doing such a thing, but that could also just be scandalous internet rumors started by (enter name here).

he said ATS not BTS and i doubt a 7.3 can break a built torque converter right?? i mean comeon with guys running 1200+hp 2400+ft lb beasts out there...

Anything can fail, doesnt matter what brand it is. There's only 1 person pushing 1200hp with a ford trans, thats Richard Madsen aka Maddog. Its with a twinned 12v cummins in his f350.

there's a couple companies that make adaptor plates and flywheel's. destroked.com is one site that makes conversion stuff.

you can make one handle that kind of power i just figured running a cummins they would have run a dodge trans,
