My ebrake doesn't work like it should. If I park on a steep hill, it still want's to roll back until I push the pedal allway down. My other trucks hold with by pushing the brake about half way. The brake shoes are new. Any ideas?
either the cable is stretched or your rear brakes need to be adjusted tighter. Try adjusting the start wheel on the rear brakes then if that doesn't do it you need to take up the slack in the cables.
self adjusters= you self adjust them, they are supposed to "self adjust" when you back up and apply the brakes, it doesnt work, nor have i ever, ever seen a car that they did work
I agree with cOOn, about that it doesnt work, nor havent seen a car that they did work, you always has to adjust manually. And till my knolwedge goes, the cables dont have adjust, I remember I read somewhere that are something to help to take up the slack in the cables, and helps with the EB.
yeah, that didnt come out right, it should have said, "some have a cable tension adjustment too, UNFORTUNATLY ours do not, i just replaced my 2 rear cables this last time and it made a big difference " sorry that looked a bit mean

Artificial Intelligence (AI) versus Cognitive Science (CS)
Although a computer can do logical reasoning, it does not mean that the computer is trying to simulate a human. In fact, computers can do logical reasoning better than humans.
We can say, with a twist, that AI is the science of correct thinking, while CS is the science of incorrect thinking. (Errare humane est)..
