metal thickness

Hi guys been gone a while busy busy. I am getting started on my 66 restoration and i need some new steel to make some paches for. Does anyone know the gage thickness of the metal in these. I think the floors and some struckture is 16 but i am not sure. I am not possitive what the body panels are maybe 18? Any ideas? Thanks Justin

My guess is that sheet metal(the skin) is probably 18, heavy bracing/support structure...like the cross bed stringers underneath are 16 most likely...heavier in key areas Im sure...high stress areas and such. a pretty good idea/example of doubling up and how much more strength is achieved is the tailgate...the inner area where the 2 seams are on the inner panel of the letter area...

I know for a fact that the floor pans in a 61-64 is 18 ga. I can't see why Ford would go back to 16 ga. in a 65. Also the door jambs where the door hinges are is 14 ga.
