This is what you are looking for, but make sure you have opened up you air in and exhaust out so you don't over heat your pistons, you need to have a pyrometer to ensure you keep temps at a safe level if you are going to add more fuel to a non turb charged engine.
yea i have opend up my exhaust quite a bit i have 5 inch stacks on it with 3.5inch exhaust and i took the soup bowl out of the air cleaner lid i dunno if that does much but if you guys can let me in on some other lil tune up tricks that would be awsome and thanx alot for the advice i will probably go do the tommorow and i will get a pyro too i lolve guages thanx again
does turning up the pump realy make more power? i seen some post's on hear that said it does and ia hev talked to guys around town and said it does but i talked to the guy who is gunna turn it up for me and he said it doesn't realy make a difference
To tell you the truth I have my 7.3 cranked up a bit, and I can really tell a difference in pulling power. As far as how fast it runs I really haven't seen a difference. The engine doesn't lug as easy as it used to. A high flow air system is what i'm working on right now. Yes it does help.

A simple way to describe the effect is to have more space under the accellerator. The truck is going to feel much more responcive of idle, since more fuel will get dumped in sooner in the throttle range and WOT will have even more fuel going into the engine.
The catch is, that the engine will have a hard time burning all the extra fuel, so if you overfuel if, you will get lots of black smoke, and high EGTs, which is why you have to be carefull.
Fuel economy will be affcted, especially if you like to use the extra power.
Turn up the fuel just a tad , and advance the ip timing a little and you should notice a difference . A ram air intake setup would also be a good idea . I'm also kind of fond of my headers .
Maybe I missed it, but are you getting black smoke now? If so how much and when? I would guess not, but if you are already blowin smoke, you will just burn more fuel without much affect.

I agree i tryed everything 3.5 inch exhaust(this made the most power),all kinds of timing(i have the tools), ramair, turn up fuel(makes thick black smoke) finnally got a turbo, awesome!!!!
