A former FTE user by the name of tetraruby donated his Ford vacuum diagrams to me a couple of years ago.

I have since helped over 400 people with diagrams.

Tetraruby had no qualms whatsoever about giving them to because he knew "hundreds to thousands" of people would be helped out from doing so.

I accept any Ford literature.

In this case, I also have a 77 pickup.

He isn't a mod anymore(when/how did that happen?) so now he doesnt have to enforce the rules, just *cough* abide *cough* by them. Those books are a free $40 value. I imagine that having all that literature is very expensive as far as time is concerned. I look things up for people on occasion, and the time it takes to find it, scan it, get the pic so its correct for the internet, its all a pain in the neck. The older I get, the more my time is worth money. By my figuring, those books will cost Dennis $100 a month in his time to dig thru them, and scan things. (Where I live, laborers cost $30 an hour, I charge $75 an hour for my time, mechanics charge upwards of $110 an hour) This is a burden in desquise for him!

I did what people are supposed to do.. contact the user by Private Message.

I have already stated my opinion of what should and shouldn't be posted on this forum.

They are letting practically everything slide now even with notification of it not belonging here

*see the 428 CJ engine thread and other threads that don't REALLY pertain to 73-79 trucks

MBeavis,One more book just helps more people .. My automotive library can always use more.

That's what makes the site more enjoyable and informative. People who take the time to find the diagrams or information, then scan it, then post it for all to see, are very dedicated people. If it weren't for them, than this site would not be as informative.

We gotta give Dennis a hard time every once in a while...its all good!

Not to get off the subject but....I heard something about new ownership on here....whats with the "They are letting practically everything slide now" comment? Is there a forum for the FTE gossip...I feel like Im out of the loop here.
