does the wait to start light come on? if not you need to check fuse #22 underhood like Rick said in the other thread.

How about any RPM register on the Tach when you crank the engine? also are the batteries fully charged after all the cranking you did?

Verify the IPR is plugged in and has 12 volts when the key is on. Also make sure the tin nut is tight and the soleniod is in the correct spot.

Is there any smoke when you crank the truck?

no smoke, what is the correct spot for the solenoid? It matters what way the position it is in? I hope so maybe that is it. I do have 12 volts and it is tight I have the plug up I couldn't remember wich way it was.

correct position would be IPR valve fiirst, then the soleniod, then spacer then nut. the plug doesn't matter so much but its much easier to get to if its on the top.

verify the spacer and all that is on correct then we either need to get a scanner or gauge on it to check for HP oil. I am assuming there is no pressure. You said you took the pump off right? what did you torque the bolt that holds the gear to the pump? its a friction fit so that bolt should be torque to aroudn 95 Ft lbs if I remember correctly.

i torqued it to real tight. don't have a scanner or gauge i geuss i need to make one. I took the reservoir off and cranked it over and verified the pump was spinning with the gear. It's just weird that it was running before fine and now all this, maybe i'll tighten the bolt some more.

do you think the fuel filter and engine temp lights are a factor?
i did disconect the hose in front of the pump cover plate and lost some coolant from there but not a lot, will that prime it self back to normal? Just a thought about that light.

you really need to use a torque wrench. that bolt can break then you will be in trouble. Beg, borrow or steal (well borrow or beg) a torque wrench. When I did mine I had to hold the engine with one wrench and torque with the other. let me research the torque spec.

95 ft lbs is the spec. Check it and see what you come back with. I gotta go for now but I will be back later tonight. perhaps somebody else will pop in here to help too.
