Dana 60 value

I've got a Dana 60 front end out of my old 87 F350 4x4 (150K +/- miles), and want to sell it. What do you guys figure it's worth?

Roughly $1,000

If it's in bad shape, and needs new u joints, rotors, etc and rusted. Of coarse less($800 ish), but if it is in good shape and had a desired gear ratio with all neccessary likages, rods, calipers(complete), about $1,200 ish.

jeez only way it would fetch that much round here is with an acid dip, full rebuild, and lockers!

I was talking about a axle that basically only need a locker to finish it off, but not that you mention it, it still sounds a little high, b/c I've seen the axles with full rebuilds, lockers ect... go for $1,200

agreed, depending on condition. $800 is a good price, $1000 is about average, and $1200 it better be ready to run and possibly a locker or something to make it stand out from other 60's

just curious since you have it why not use it? i cant count on both hands how many people i know who is looking for one!

I've got too much iron laying around, and my truck already has one. That, and it's too valuable to keep as a spare.

I Would Clean Them Up Paint Them And Ask For $1250 And Let Someone Talk You Down To $1000. Dana 60 Front Ends Are Pricey If There In Good Shape, Rear Ends Aren't Worth Much.

Like you described it, it's worth about $700-$800 around here. If you rebuild it (New bearings, seals, gears, paint, etc...) then it will go for around $1K-$1,100...
