Yeah Carl I have a gray beard also..lol.. thats why I dont grow it out !! Mine is salt and pepper...which I dont like..But if it were to be all gray or go back to black..lol..I'd grow it out as I hate to shave..
Yeah that mini bike is cool... it looks like a scary ride though ?? and G's right about the turbine bike... Is that a jet aircraft power supply turbine on there?? It looks like the ones we used in the Air Force years ago...for standby power when we needed to do a systems check on the aircraft, but didnt want to fire the engine's up..

FFR; i'll have to get back to you on the bike and find out what exactly that turbine came off. Russ that beard went last week as I couldn't stand myself any longer, it was brown years ago what the hell happened?
I started mine in April to look old for the SSD doctors and shrinks last July.
Wife wouldn't kiss me for 6 months, kind of like that hallway sex thing.
FFR428.... I was told the turbine was a starter motor for a larger turbine, my friend said it was around 90 hp. Sorry for the late answer it's hard to comnnect with my welder friend.
G, we used to use turbines that size in the Air Corps..that ran the axulury Generators for the Copters and the big birds....C130's and C150's... and also for the AWAX......and also for Medivac operations...
I almost had a high time Jet Ranger turbine, was thinking of running a hydraulic pump off it for a 4 wheel drive. Hell 11-1,300 hp will make one think in a mad kind way for a drag car project.
I worked on 501-D13 Allison turbines, 5,300 SHP the same motors used on the C130's. National Airomotive a motor shop for 1830, 2800 pratt's and 501 Allison's. Back then and still now a motor under 1,000 inches is still a hobby toy motor to me. Nothing compares to standing next to a 2800 on test stand pulling power unless it's Top Fuel. Well a Pro Stock motor gets my attention every time be it start up or racing.
Thanks for the update Carl. That's a wicked cool project. Not something you see everyday either!! You hear the jet in the sky..... but there's nothing there.... it's Carl whizzing past ya at a buck fiddy just crusing along!! Wooo hooooo!!!
So what would be the top speed of something like that?
From what I was told it will do 150 no problem.
The bad thing it's single speed and has smoked the
clutch pack, it's now a blued rusty ugly mess.
The last time we ran it it spooled up, ran rich
and went into EGT over temp, oops.
