Has anybody attempted putting this size tire on an F150 with just a 2.5" leveling kit?
I ask because I want to do the 305s but BFG is the only on that makes a 65 series. Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek make a 60 series and a 70 series but no 65. I would prefer the 65 series but I like the look of the Cepek and Thompson tires over the BFG.

I thought they would have lasted at least 40k myself. I was running a 12.50 on an 8" rim. Now granted 8" in the minimum width suggested so one would assume you could have success with them. The way mine wore you would have thought they were on a 6" rim. The centers were wore out and the outer tread had approx another 5k left in them. I was only running 30lbs pressure in them so I really don't know why they wore the way they did but I was not happy with my results. The baja mtz is also a good looking tire but there again how long will it last.
I have always heard that these tires were mostly designed for sand and they have a real soft compound design and that's why they don't last on highway use.
Good luck in whatever you choose.
BTW,I don't have any experience with them, but pro comp makes an all terrain that has a 40k warranty I think. It may be more than that but it's at least 40.

You would need at least a 2" leveling kit. Some here say a 35" tire rubs with only a leveling kit but from the looks of mine I could have easily fit 35's under it.
I am pretty sure the factory rim is too narrow for the 305 which is 12" wide x 35 tall. Go to a few tire websites until you find a spec. chart and it will give you a seggested rim width range for each size tire they make. You can run them on that rim but most people would advise against it.
