427 Heads
MontanaWick, 427 MR heads, if you had the bare castings, used, would probably sell for about 350-400$ each. The valves are bigger than in other FE cylinder heads and cost more than average, lots more. The 427 heads will only work on the 427s bigger 4.23 bore because the big valves hit the cylinder walls on the smaller bores. I think they will work on a .060 over 428, but you have to notch the bores. If you should happen to see some of them, the casting # is C5AE-F. The Medium Riser (as opposed to a high riser or low riser) gets its name from the matching manifold that was supposed to be used with the heads. DF
