Fuel Injectors Recall
I havent seen this anywere but Yesterday I was at a truckstop gassing up, a guy came buy and was asking me about my truck, gas milage and so on.
He said that he had on 08 powerstroke also and that he had just got it out of the shop for the single injector recall. I was not aware of a injector recall, did this guy know what he was talking about or is this BS?

a few of the early models had some injectors that were faulty, but that was taken care of before most of them left Ford. The guy probably had heard about it and thought he would throw it out there like a know it all. Bet he didn't even own one.

Certain vehicles built from April 3, 2007 through May 21, 2007
In some of the affected vehicles, three fuel injectors were subjected to a reverse polarity voltage during engine testing that may have damaged the injector resulting in reduced fuel flow. This may potentially cause the vehicle to run rough, hesitate, or stumble on acceleration.
Replace Fuel Injectors #1, #5, and #7 All in-stock vehicles must be repaired prior to delivery. Customer vehicles are to be given priority over in-stock vehicles.
