Just out of curiousity, would this engine basically drop into an FE powered truck? Just in case I have a few too many cold ones one night and accidentally press the bid button on something like this:-)

I saw one today in a pickup at the Run to the Rock Ford truck show in Chimney Rock North Carolina. The owner fired her up and a crowd drew around very fast.

It went for $10,200. I was tempted at $7500 after just 4 beers. But I can't even get my 390 tuned well, what would I do with a built 427. I'd probably learn alot more about Ford FE motors. That's what I have to consider all of the time and money invested in my 69..an education not an investment. :-)
