The general consensus around the net, as per a quick google search on "taurus fan", will yield the fact that all the guys doing this mod trust only a 75amp relay for the high speed at the very least. I'm running the 75amp Hella relay on my setup and it seems to work fine. But to be honest, I hardly ever run the high speed at all, even with my 95amp alternator it makes my battery gauge dip by about 15-20% depending on RPMs.
I upgraded from a flex fan. If I remember correctly, the Mark VIII shroud is about 22" wide and 19" tall. The fan is an 18" unit. The shroud fit my radiator core with about 1/4" gap on top and bottom and 2.75" gap on both sides. With the 180 degree thermostat and the 4 core radiator that I have in there, the temperature barely gets close to 180, even in beautiful southern California traffic.
