Picked up a 72
Bought this 72 Ranger XLT from my Uncle awhile back. It seems pretty clean. He says he bought it from a funeral home which used it as their flower truck. They painted it black (was red) in 73. My uncle pulled the 360 and it now gets its motivation from a 429SCJ

Very Nice, good color combo for the interior.
Looks like you may be missing the skid plates inside the door frame, can't be sure for the picture angle. These keep you from scuffing the paint as you get in and out.

You are a VERY VERY lucky guy!! I'd walk a million miles for a straight clean black long bed like that!!!!!

My first F100 was as '70, 1/2 ton, BLACk just like that one. I'm really partial to them to say the least. Just a real classy truck!
