Stock .352, 2bbl... trying to be more fuel efficient, and get better performance. Just picked up the Pertronix Ignitor with high voltage coil, have the 7mm wires on order and installing Splitfire plugs... what is the best recommendation for a cap and rotor to hold up to the increased spark, or is stock ok?
Open to suggestions, thanks!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Nov-02 AT 10:31 PM (EST)] Golfer, it sounds like your on the right track. Mostly. Y ou need to get rid of the splitfire plugs. They cost more and they gain you absolutely NOTHING ! Your pertronics ignition throws out 1 spark to each plug when needed, the twin ground electodes on the Splitfires don't do anything, they don't hurt anything either, but, they are a waste of cash. DF
Thanks for the input... I'll save the cash for something else. What plugs do you suggest... I was leaning toward the Bosch platinums until I ran into the Splitfires.

The Bosch Platinums are just expensive. I ran them On a car I had a few years ago think they were a better performance plug. NO go. They just cost more. I suppose on a few engines they may make more power but it would eb marginal at best. I would stick with some Motorcrafts or something like that.
