Well what happens with state farm is that first you call and let them know it's coming, and then they will put in a request for the police report and advise you to get some estimates on the damage(if you are going to get it repaired). They will send you a form that you will have to fill out that formerly reports the claim to the company and depending on what your deductible is that is what you will have to pay them for the damages to the other vehicle if the report determines you were at fault(which it will). They will get in touch with the other party(s) and get all the info they need from them, lot of phone calls. Then if they have a first wreck forgiveness policy, your premiums will stay the same, if not expect a hike for a good bit and you'll need to keep a good record(no speeding etc.).
Don't worry about it Counter, "things" can be replaced. I totalled 3 cars before I was 20. One of them was my brother's car that I drove without permission. I didn't even have my license yet. His wife took me to get my license the next day so we could get that ticket dismissed. That was very cool of her. I think he would have really been pissed but he was in a Mexican prison for smuggling at the time. No, it wasn't drugs, it was irrigation equipment. OOPS!
Read your own signature. Now read it again. Now start to believe it!
The fact that more than one person was written up is probably a good thing. That is, it'll be hard for anyone in the wreck to point a fingure at you and say "it's all his fault". When the insurance companies get involved this might end up being called a "no fault" accident since more than one driver was cited.
thanks alot guys...ya emptyd i should start believing my own words...do you guys agree the first thing i should do is sell the lift/tires and rims? and instead of getting another RA bumper, just get it back to factory?
I know they are accidents, but I think you need to drive that badboy more like a truck and not a sports car. The weight of that truck could put a hurtin on someone. You have been lucky so far, but take that as a sign. It could have been alot worse, but I'm sure you are aware of that. By the way, I was no angel when it came to driving at your age. I am just speaking from experience now.
nah i think for now you should keep the lift and tires and such and wait and see what happens first like everyone else says you live and you learn thats why all the old folgies like to tell us young guys what to do cause theve been there and done that but you dont learn anything that way
Sounds like you need to keep your foot off the gas for a while. Most people suggest never driving more that 5mph over the speed limit and in most cases driving 10+ over isn't going to get you there more than a minute or two faster. As far as seeing cops go by usually this is a good time to slow way down, because you may have to stop quickly ahead. Good luck with the insurance you may be able to get Progressive to insure you, my buddy's driving record was far worse than yours even after State Farm dropped him Progressive would still insure him. I'm not a big Progressive fan but it's better than high risk insurance.

I do not see it that way... Above In BOLD There is no such thing as an accident... someone screwed up, plain and simple. Someone was doing something they were not suppose to be doing, be it, speeding, following too close or blabbing on their cell phone, etc that caused the wreck.
And I second the rest, it is a truck not a sports car.
