thus far I think something like this is what I'm looking for, maybe should get acouple of them..
Anways, opinions I've also been looking at Mallory and of course Duraspark and pertroneix,but I think I want to stick with points.

If you want a cheap powerful coil just grab one off a Ford EFI V-8 engine. They are a 48 kv coil and it is also 12v so no ballast resister is necessary. As for the dizzy, I'd go with the Duraspark. Donors are plentiful and parts are at every part store.
