I have a 1966 f-250 and would like to put a t-5 out of a 93 mustang. Would it be possible? Three speed is just too tight on the hi-way, or any other fit.

I think the t-5 will work, but you may have to work out how the clutch will work. I'm also not sure about the crossmember, but you may be able to modify it to work.and you'll more than likely have to cut the driveshaft. I could be way off, but I'm basing my answer on the 240 and 300 being the same block and the 300 having a bellhousing pattern that fits small block transmissions. Hopefully someone will be along that can verify what I've said or tell me I'm a boob.
