All the main bearings were shot. The #1 main got hammered, being closest to the oil pump and all, so now I gotta regrind the crank. Bright side is that it's standard, so it should clean at 10/10.
Rods didn't look too bad (considering), but that's a moot point now. I dropped the crank off at the machine shop today, but after a brief chat with Mr Machinist, it looks like I'm stripping it down so he can tank the block and clean out the oil gallies. So now I'm looking at new cam bearings and soft plugs. About the best case I can hope for is not needing a bore and new pistons. That'll save me some coin.
I went home and had a big bowl of ice cream. Now I feel a little better. I'd break out the tequila, but I gotta pick up the S.O. from work in a couple hours, so that will have to wait.
