ABS problem?

I have a '95 ford f-150, with the inline 6 and 147000 miles. I started it up today, when the automatic transmission stick wouldn't budge like it wasn't even started, with the ABS light flashing while I was trying to shift it. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

The sensor on the brake pedal that tells the truck if the pedal is depressed may be unplugged or not getting power. Look at the top of the pedal. There should be a a plug connecting to a small sensor on the top.
