what carb to use
Hey guys you are all awsome!!!! I appreciate all the help so far, but heres another question. I am building my 79 with a 390 into a mud truck, I want to do well with this truck and dont know what carb to use if it matters. ive read that the holly 670 truck avenger is good, but will it perform in the mud? thanx again for everything

Swamp.....if you are mud racing I would go with a Demon carb. If you mean mud in the sense of four wheeling, they yes, the Holley truck avenger is the way to go. I run a tweaked one on mine and I throw my beast into some really mean stuff, it works great.

check into a carb from a e d i purchased one for my bracket racer wordek great out of the box, about the same price as a new holley, cheaper then a demon , great service , call them befor you buy ,
