These are good ideas for the mailbox. The only problem that sucks, you have to have a mailbox thats approved by the postmaster, and last time I checked, they dont make one that is "bulletproof" to me. Might have to buy one, to get the door, and make my own custom mailbox. The only part they are going to be able to destroy is the door.

Weld a steel platform out of 1/4" plate to the top or the pipe. Then just buy a mail box and bolt it down. Yeah you might have to replcae the mail box. But never agian will you have to replace the stand. But think of the damage you will cause to the vehicle. If they try it with a car or truck I mean. Cool. HAH HAH HAH. Country

Hey John, Do what I did. The USPS does require a certain type of mail box, but all you need is the front door and the little red wing. have a buddy weld you up a 1/2 cylinder out of 1/4 steel, weld the bottom, then rivet on the door and the wing. Sink a piece of 6" tube steel about four feet in the ground and fill with concrete and rebar. Weld your box on top and paint. Also, the USPS requires access, make it so, but do not put it on the edge of the road. Move it back a little, like across the ditch, but within easy reach.

Then watch the excitment begin. My post totaled an S-10 that hit it. It drove the engine block through the firewall. Damage to the box. $3.00 of paint. A state trooper hit it unintentionally, damage to the cruiser, about $7,000.00, damage to the box, again about $3.00 of paint. Moving Ball bat attack. Damage to box, again about $3.00 of paint. I heard the DA broke his arm. LOL

Country, with the TC going when you hit the brakes it will add an additional load to the engine thats already bogged by your TC which however the truck reacts to it the idle could come up to compensate or down even further. Mine when its wicked hot like right now when the truck is HOT the idle comes up a couple hundred RPMs when my Air conditioner is on, dont know why but for some reason it idles up to compensate for it. There is probably nothing wrong with your pump, maybe but not sure

Yeah it's hotter than well diggers,#$%$@#!. UHHH, Yeah i'ts hot here too!!! More than usual. It could be the heat play'n tricks with my truck too. It's frustrating because it seems too idle normally for the most part. But I still just can't quite put my finger on, why the idle will drop then jump. And sometimes almost stall. It seems to run just fine on the road though. NO missing, stumbling, hicups, etc. It only does it when I come to a stop. Or as I expalined earlier, in the drive when I hit the brakes it'll act up. It has been hotter hear than it has in S.CA's history. It has kept me from gettin under the hood. But tomorrow is do or die day for me. I gotta figure this out. I'll let ya'll know what I find out. Thanks Benny. Country
