That's just painful...I saw it on the news several days ago--several times.
When are they going to drop the stupid interview portion of these beauty pageants? We all know it's not their intelligence or speaking ability that got them there in the first place, so dump the charade.

I didn't watch it. Is it the beauty queen that missed some simple geography question? She sounds pretty dumb, but I'd hate to have the whole world watching me when I had a brain fart. Imagine if every dumb thing we've ever said was available on video.

I'm pretty sure that she was probably told to make sure that she squeezed something about trying to help 3rd world countries into one of her answers. She just managed to screw it up badly and now's she famous for it. But at least she's hot (and my age

my next door neighbor was miss teen usa 1995.
product of our school system, make sure everything in the world somehow relates to the two places that are hammered into the kids...iraq and africa.
the worst thing is she was third runner up.
and no, she is not "hot", maybe for the low standards of the US which has an over 30% obesity rate she is, lets she how long it takes for her to join that club.
and why is there a "teen" pagent? everyone enjoys watching the teens parade around in bikinis? or is there not enough adults thin enough to go around to watch?
