Help, Brake lightd not working on 02 Excursion

Help, Brake lightd not working on 02 Excursion
Hi, we have a rather baffleing problem tonight. The brakelights on the rear side of the X do not work. But the third brakelight up above does, and the blinkers work. I looked at the fuses, no problem there.
What do I check next?

Yup, that was it. But now the rear wiper/washer quit. I haven't checked it out yet so I don't know if it's the new switch that is bad or something else.
