That'd be good for towing, but I want to go fast. I don't think you'll find too many guys souping up the cats.
I actually know a guy that tries to soup those things up. Depending on what qualifies as souped up for those engines depends on rather or not you think he is successful or not.
Swapping in the cat motor has been discussed here a time or two. General consensus was that it just wasn't worth it. I bet you can do a search and get lots of reading on that subject.
yeah it was more of a towing idea, not for racing. as much as i hate to say it, we've literally got dozens of cummins engines laying around our yard on pallets so when it comes time to build me a tow rig i'll probably get an older truck and put one of those in it. but my superduty, my baby, she's strictly for hauling the mail and the powerstroke does a fine job of leaving the competition in the dust.. or should i say smoke.
