I took off the dog house on my 7.3.....It's oily inside. Do these ever get cleaned or replaced as part of a service interval? I'm planning on the ccv mod and 6637 filter mod. I was thinking of spraying down with breakclean and blowdry and reinstall. Just curious.

Cleaning it certainly won't hurt anything, but it will just get oily again. In fact, that means it's doing its job. It's supposed to trap the oil and keep it from getting sucked up through the turbo (which we all know doesn't work). Once you do the CCV, it will help filter the oily mist somewhat, but some will undoubtedly get by. That's why a lot of us run the host up over the brake booster to help keep oil from making out the pipe. Others build a trap a the end of the hose. There are many ways to skin this cat, so pick your favorite!!
Two important things to remember: Once the hose drops from under the hood, don't have it go up again (like up over the rear-end or axle). In other words, keep it sloped slightly or at least level from the last highest point. Second is you might try using clear hose from Lowes or Home Depot -- I just used heater hose, but the clear stuff makes it easy to see if oil is pooling anywhere.
