I have put a K&N cold air intake, dual exhaust with no mufflers, throttle body spacer, and Edge Evolution on my 98 4.6. What are some more good performance parts I can add to it ?? Iam thinking of ordering a mass air flow sensor, good or bad idea ??? Thanks you for any help..
Bad idea. Save your money! The mass air will give you 0 HP.
An electric fan will help a little. About 8 HP I think. Other then that you need to spend a lot to up your HP now. You have done most of the cheaper upgrades already.
However, I'll add some other ideas. "Shift kits" make driving a lot of fun, I did a factory tech valve body for it's ease. Torque converters with higher stall speeds and multipliers can make it feel like there is more power. I didn't notice much when my headers went on. I am thinking very hard about doing cams and heads. I just wish there was a better choice than ported stock heads. Gears can make your truck feel lighter.
thanks for the suggestions... i have thought about doing headers and high flow cats.. i would like to get long tube headers if possible... does anyone know where i can get them ??? thanks again for any help
